connecting for the first time
You will need a Wi-Fi capable device. Most smart phones, tablets and laptops will be able to connect to cbdfree. Wi-Fi will need to be on and flight mode off.
Your device may automagically find all available Wi-Fi networks - if so, just select 'cbdfree' and you will be able to connect.
If your device doesn't give you a list of networks, go to:
Apple Computers, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devicesGo to Settings > Wi-Fi
Android Smartphones and TabletsGo to Settings > Wi-Fi
Windows ComputersSelect the Network icon on your task bar. Depending on which version of Windows you are running, it may look like: If this icon is not visible, you can find it in your 'Start' menu by looking under 'Control Panel' and then selecting 'Network & Sharing Centre' (Windows 7 / Vista) or 'Network Connections' (Windows XP).
Select 'cbdfree' from the list of available networks. Usually your device will remember this network, and next time you just connect automatically.
what is cbdfree?
cbdfree is a public access Wi-Fi network that allows wi-fi-enabled devices to freely connect with the internet from anywhere outdoors within the designated area. These devices include smartphones, laptop computers, iPads and other electronic tablets, game consoles.
The network is absolutely free to use and we don't ask for any of your personal details. Once you've connected you have uninterrupted access to the Internet for 30 minutes. After that you can connect again immediately.
why is it free?
Of course, it does cost money to run a network like cbdfree - that's where the sponsors come in. Our sponsors have very kindly offered to pay so that you get free access.
We think this is jolly nice of them. So each time you connect to cbdfree, you will be shown some adverts of our sponsors.

where is cbdfree available?
Our map provides information on general availability. Keep in mind that Wi-Fi is short range and can be affected by interference from buildings and other structures. It is quite possible that you will be able to connect at one location, then walk round a corner and not be able to connect again.
